Computer Database
How can i transfer a database from one computer to another?
I have a large MS Access database on my computer in my office but i want to put the same database on my computer in my workshop, but all i have managed to do is save it to disc to put on that computer and its a Read only document, i want to be able to just type in a reference number and it will go to that item on my database like i can in my office!! Anybody know what to do??? PLEASE!!!
Your MS Access database is stored in a file with .mdb extension and all u have to do is to copy that on the other computer open it and it the same. Be careful when u do the moving with help of a CD on the CDrom the file change the status to read only document. After copying the file go to his properties and uncheck the read only box.
